Places that I’ve never been
Omission is my greatest sin
I wonder what I would have said
If the words had left my head
And if I had you next to me
It might have turned out differently
When our paths will cross someday
Then I know just what to say
In places that I’ve never been
The time has gone for me to see
If we were ever meant to be
Wondering what might have been
Has left me in the state I’m in
And if our paths will cross someday
Then I know just what to say
I’ll tell you that you were the one
And all the things we would have done
In places that I’ve never been
And when I think of you with him
I find myself alone again
Another hour of misery
Reminds me where I’ll never be
And if our paths will cross someday
Then I know just what I’d say
Until I see her I’ll pretend
Thinking of the days we’d spend
In places that I’ve never been
Places that I’ve never been …

Much as the mystical whisperings of acid folk oft evoke fancies of mist shrouded woods and meadow blooms swaying in a breeze in my mind, I don’t care much for the underlying dark taint of despair and sorrow herein. However, I was eager to research some of these artists. I wouldn’t have bought this if I’d known beforehand I’d be supporting the disgusting music of a blasphemer by the name of James McKeown. Most of his ‘music’ is sick and evil. Like the poor soul on this cover. 5/10. Alrihkh
